I love the inflatables but you are right, you can overdo it. It seems like you can overdo the lights and be okay but if you overdo the inflatables it just looks bad.

Great ideas before you start putting up lights. definitely get a plan so you don’t only get half way finished

Some great tips here, you should always have a plan!. The problem with outdoor lights and trees is the wires. They can be dangerous if incorrectly installed. With modern innovation however ranges of outdoor battery operated trees are becoming popular. They use low voltage LED lights which make the batteries last the entire Christmas season, you will probably get the next year out of them too, as long as you remove them when not in use. Great post.

I’m a big fan of xmas lights. I bought a bunch of the LED ones after Christmas at a ridiculous price. Now I’m excited for Christmas this year just to use them.

These are some good ideas for decorating the outside of your home. Many people do not think about safety enough and will use cheap products instead. Safety should always be a top priority!

We leave our decorations up until the first week of January. That way we can enjoy them and not irritate our neighbors too much!
